I know that life is never static, it moves and we have to move along along with it. However, this realisation does not make the pain we experience from losing a loved one easy to bear. Rupert, I had the pleasure and honour of meeting you when I joined Hackney Homes in 2012. You were courteous and treated me with professional respect even though we were working for you. You had an easygoing relationship with us the staff and was very supportive. Always smiling but quite clear on the vision and what we needed to achieve. Rupert, you made your mark and I’m sure that all of us that had the blessing of knowing and working with you will always remember you.
